Uniformly Extended Light Source is a standard extended light source based on the Lambertian characteristics of an integrating sphere. It serves as a quantitative optical measurement system testing device, primarily used to establish the relative or absolute conversion relationship between the spectral radiance input of an optical system and the resulting electronic or digital output. Its features include programmable output of user-specified radiance values, covering spectral radiance, band-integrated radiance, luminance, and illuminance data. The system provides a uniform light source for testing and calibration of imaging and non-imaging devices. Through professional design, it achieves high uniformity and Lambertian characteristics to meet customer requirements.
The Uniformly Extended Light Source System offers high performance and flexible design. Under color temperatures of 3000 K (or 6000 K), it supports automatic control of preset radiance values from minimum to maximum output. The system is equipped with brightness and spectral radiance monitoring modules to continuously track the light source output. All factory-supplied uniformly extended light sources undergo precise spectral radiance calibration traceable to national primary metrology institutes.
